  • Our Values

    Two things:

First, locally as a congregation we value:

    • Inspiring Worship
    • Family Oriented
    • Passionate Spirituality
    • Courageous Faith
    • Biblical, Grace Oriented Teaching
    • Loving Relationships
    • Empowering Servant Leadership
    • Gifts Based Ministry
    • Faith Sharing Outreach
    • Impacting Communities

Second, as Lutherans in general, we share the values of the Reformation: Sola Gratia, Sola Fide, Sola Scriptura

    Sola Gratia (By Grace Alone)

God loves the people of the world, even though they are sinful, rebel against Him and do not deserve His love. He sent Jesus, His Son, to love the unlovable and save the ungodly.

    Sola Fide (By Faith Alone)

By His suffering and death as the substitute for all people of all time, Jesus purchased and won forgiveness and eternal life for them. Those who hear this Good News and believe it have the eternal life that it offers. God creates faith in Christ and gives people forgiveness through Him.

    Sola Scriptura (By Scripture Alone)

The Bible is God's inerrant and infallible Word in which He reveals His Law and His Gospel of salvation in Jesus Christ. It is the sole rule and norm for Christian doctrine.

  • Our Vision

Currently our Vision has several aspects of growth:

    1. We desire to see the expansion and development of Youth and Family Ministry. The family unit is crucial to strengthen and develop in faith and love.

    2. We are revitalizing our current campus, from carpet and paint to new classrooms for the children. We seek to impact lives of future generations as well as serve today's community as best we can. Our ECDC and our Kingdom Quest ministries are greatly benefitting by our revitalization efforts.

    3. We are increasing our Home Huddles where people gather in small groups to Live, Love, Laugh, and Learn. Various opportunities exist each day of the week.

    4. We are gathering information in becoming a Multi-Site ministry, seeking to expand north into the Spring Branch/Bulverde area as well as out Hwy 35 working with Word of Life Fellowship to reach the Schertz/Cibolo and surrounding areas.

  • Our Mission

We believe we are called by the Holy Spirit to live life in ways that bring glory to the Father through His Son, our Savior Jesus Christ.  We further believe that God gives each one of us different gifts to use individually and as a church.  At this time we are in prayer to understand the gifts God has given King of Kings and to understand the mission He has established for the congregation.  We hope to have a new mission statement in early 2019 that reflects the unique mission God has given King of Kings
