Living with Purpose to:

Expand Gods Kingdom

We strive to plant the seed of knowledge of Christ's Kingdom through our Food Pantry and Braille teams as well as outreach efforts with LINC San Antonio and Haven for Hope.

Worship the LORD

We have worship services each Sunday morning at 8 and 10:45 AM.  The 8 o'clock service is a traditional Lutheran Liturgy service while the 10:45 service combines classic hymns with contemporary worship songs.  During the seasons of Lent and Advent we also have wednesday services.  You can also join us online as we stream our services and view recorded services here.

Strengthen His Family

We hope to strengthen God's family through our Youth Ministries, the Early Childhood Development Center and other family oriented fellowship opportunities.

  • The Word of God

We teach and confess that the Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God.  Saint Paul teaches us “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.”  2 Tim 3:16-17

Christianity Is Not Based on Works

We teach and confess that we are saved only by the gift of God's grace to all those who have faith through the Holy Spirit in Christ Jesus.  While we are made to do good works, and will be known by the good works we accomplish, we are not saved by those good works.

  • Senior Pastor - Neldo Schmidt King of Kings Senior Pastor Neldo Schmidt was installed August 27, 2017.  Pastor Schmidt joins us from St John Lutheran Church in Woodbury MN.

Current Church News

  • See Through The Scriptures

Join us Sunday mornings at 9:25 for See Through The Scriptures.  A biblical course designed to provide the framework you need to understand the grand, complex narrative that unfolds between Genesis and Revelation.

  • Sunday School Superintendent

We have an opening for the Sunday School Superintendent.  If you would like to volunteer please contact an elder or Kim in the church office.

  • Human Care Helpers

The Human Care Board is in need of people to help with the pickup and delivery of food from food pantry.  This is one of our most important missions for the community in which we live.  Can you find an hour or two a week to help us help our community?
